Stable Futures supports young people to re-engage with learning in a calm, non-school setting. Our impact is seen in small, consistent steps, improved routines, stronger relationships, better regulation and growing confidence. With practical activities, animal care (including horses) and structured support, we help young people build the foundations they need for education, training or their next placement.
“Stable Futures is an ideal school partner in alternative Provision.
They offer a safe, secure and nurturing environment for our children to attend, whilst collaboratively working with schools towards the child’s desired outcomes and targets. From the initial farm visit, Stable Futures treats our children with thoughtfulness and understanding surrounding each and every child’s individual needs.
Communication is clear and efficient coming in the form of a weekly tracker, which clearly shows us what our young person has been working on and how this is linked to their own personal outcomes.”

“Stable Futures has been an amazing addition to E’s week.
When E started attending, she hadn’t been in an educational setting for over 2 years and rarely left the house!
Despite her social anxiety, dissociation, ASD and separation anxiety, the team has pulled out all the stops to make the placement a truly positive experience for E.
From half an hour to lasting the full 4 hours!
Her key worker is amazing; her enthusiasm, bubbly personality and genuine care for E are invaluable.
E has been carefully matched to a small group of girls, and she is now able to communicate again with her peers, has been engaging in learning and getting much-needed fresh air amongst the animals.
The AQA units are a great way to achieve smaller goals, and it’s been so good to see her pride in her achievements.
Nature and nurture have been the perfect recipe for E, and we’re so grateful to Stable Futures!”
“My daughter has been attending Stable Futures (SF) for almost a year. When she started, she had been out of formal education from a special needs school for over a year and was suffering from low self-esteem and high anxiety as a result. The staff at SF worked patiently to settle my daughter into their provision, and have continued to provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment. She now looks forward to her twice weekly sessions, has grown in confidence and social skills and is ready to move onto college. We, as parents, are very appreciative of their care and commitment in an educational world that does not always suit our young people.”
“We remain reflective upon our practice to ensure we are all held accountable for not only safeguarding the young people, but for supporting them to achieve their best possible outcomes.”
