Stable Futures featured by Englefield Estate

We’re delighted to have been featured in the latest Estate News from Englefield Estate.

The article highlights the work we do at Stable Futures, supporting children and young people with a range of educational and behavioural needs through our outdoor learning, equine and animal-assisted therapeutic programmes. It also showcases the wonderful animals at the heart of what we do: our 13 horses and ponies, along with our goats, sheep, alpacas, guinea pigs and hens.

Centre Manager Emily Clayton spoke to Englefield about the incredible role our horses play in supporting children with autism, ADHD, anxiety and depression, and how many of them, having been rescued themselves, share a unique bond with the young people they work alongside.

James Meade, Englefield’s Head of Rural Property and Land, also reflected on the partnership, describing Stable Futures as “a force for good and fully in keeping with our ethos here at the Estate.” You can read the full article on the Englefield Estate website here.
