What We Offer

Stable Futures was established in 2019 as an extension of Amegreen Children’s Services. Since 2022, we have welcomed external referral partners and continue to build strong, collaborative relationships that support positive outcomes for our learners. We offer a calm, consistent, non-school setting where children and young people are supported to re-engage with learning and build confidence through tailored, hands-on programmes.

Equine Programme

At Stable Futures, our equine programme offers a powerful therapeutic experience for children and young people aged 6 to 18 who may be struggling with emotional, behavioural, or educational challenges.

City And Guilds Offer

Stable Futures is proud to be a City & Guilds-approved centre. From September 2025, we will be offering accredited qualifications that help learners build essential skills, gain confidence and take meaningful steps towards further education, training and employment.

Careers and Vocational

Careers and Vocational are a core part of the Alternative Curriculum at Stable Futures and align with Ofsted’s framework. We help learners build confidence, emotional awareness and social understanding, so they can make safe, healthy and informed choices.

Animal Programmes

Our animal care programme combines therapeutic interventions with engaging, science-based learning, helping children and young people explore the physical and emotional needs of animals – while developing empathy, responsibility, and life skills.

Horticulture

At its heart, horticulture at Stable Futures is about more than planting and growing, it’s about nurturing emotional wellbeing, building transferable life skills, and reconnecting young people with the rhythms of nature.

Culinary Skills Programme

At Stable Futures, food and cooking are more than life skills. They build confidence, support healthy choices and bring people together. Learners cook across both sites, from our commercial-style farm kitchen to open-fire wild cooking at The Paddock.
